Oak Summit Collection Steel Garage Doors

Twenty four window designs across four carriage house panel patterns, and the window styles themselves are the decorative ones, arched and leaded and divided rather than a plain rectangle of glass. If the garage door is the first thing people see when they pull up to your house, this is the collection where you can do something about that.

Oak Summit is built either as a single layer of steel with no insulation or as a double layer with polystyrene in between, which comes out around R 6.6. If the garage is attached to the house, go with the insulated one. This is the plainest of the Oak Summit patterns, a recessed panel in a closed square layout. It suits a house where the door is not meant to be the thing you notice, which covers most of the tract homes around here.

The Thames design breaks up the panel with a heavier pattern, so the door reads more like a carriage house from the street. This is the one people pick when the garage is the front of the house and they want it to look like something.
